Yamaha’s new-for-2013 Bolt is a cruiser at heart, but was designed to be easily customized. Now, Yamaha’s bringing a cute little concept bike based around the machine to the Tokyo Motor Show.
We don’t know if any outside designers or builders had any input on this machine; these days, the manufacturers are outsourcing more and more of this stuff, but we haven’t heard of anyone else’s name in connection with this machine, so it could be an in-house effort.
Remember, Yamaha offers a source of bolt-on accessories already that can “cafe” your Bolt, but this concept looks like it takes it a bit further.
Great concept, so hopefully it makes it into production.
Note the incorrectly positioned foot controls,….unusable with the clip ons.,..need rear sets.
I love the bike EXCEPT for the number plates. Seriously. What is it with this and the Guzzi V7 Racer? Number plates are for real race tracks already.
