Editor ‘Arris managed to sneak into a Suzuki dealer meeting this week. Actually, he was invited (it’s hard to sneak around when you’re the size of a pro basketball player), but here’s a few details he gleaned about Suzuki’s plans for 2013.

Suzuki’s new V-Strom 1000 will cost $11,999 for the standard version when it gets to Canada. The SE version (with hand guards, centrestand and sidebags) will set buyers back $12,999. There may be other versions coming (maybe an Adventure version?), but Suzuki was very keen on keeping those details to themselves.

Suzuki also confirmed they’re bringing the 200 Burgman to Canada, with ABS, at a price of $4,999.

You may remember we also told you about a GSX-R 1000 special edition that was hitting the market this year, with chrome frame, polished rims, tarted-up paint and lots of anodized parts. They’re only making 100 worldwide, and Canada will get five of them, with a price to be announced later.

Here’s a brief video with ‘Arris interrogating a Suzuki official about the new V-Strom’s features.
