It’s the most wonderful time of the year. No, Santa isn’t drawing up lists and the malls aren’t decked with boughs of holly (or is that halls that get decked with holly?). Nope, it’s time once again for the Dawn to Dusk rally.

This year’s rally starts once again at Toys for Big Boys and ends at the Big Stop in Aulac, NB. It’s a bit more ambitious than last year’s rally, covering about 637 kms for small bikes. We’ve also opened it up to larger bikes, and they have the option of covering 717 kms. Is there a better way to wrap up the riding season? We doubt it.

If anyone wants to ride up from Halifax in the morning and ride part of the route with us, meet us at Masstown; we’ll be gassing up there and likely have a tea break as well. We should be there between 10:30 and 11, but be early just in case.

We’ll be eating lunch at the Prissy Pig in Antigonish, then doing the route ’round Cape George after that. There are some great views from this area, so bring your camera.

You can find the map for this year’s rally here, or check it out below.

  1. Once again it was wicked fun, and great company!

I was on a big bike this year and did the ‘plus’ loop, plus a few loops thrown in gratis by Garmin.

Thanks so much for hosting the rally. I look forward to next year’s already.
