Remember how the Dawn to Dusk 250 cc rally was originally supposed to run this weekend? We had to shuffle that date around, but CMG is still going to be at Moto Moncton.
Instead of a 600-km route on small-bore bikes, CMG is running a ride open to bikes of any displacement on this Saturday (Aug. 10) as part of Moto Moncton. The ride will start at Atlantic Motoplex and head down towards Parrsboro, in Nova Scotia, through much of the same territory that we did on the original D2D rally.
The riders will head out at 9:30 in the morning, and return around 4:00 in the afternoon. You’ll grab lunch somewhere along the way (likely Parrsboro). You can find the printable route map here or as a Google Map below (from which you can download a KML file for your GPS). You’ll also need to sign a waiver, found here.
But remember this: if it’s raining, the ride isn’t on. If the ride is a go, Editor ‘Arris will be at Atlantic Motoplex by 9 a.m.; if the weather looks iffy (which is does as of today’s forecast), give him a call at 506-540-1218, and he can let you know the ride’s status.
