It comes once every two years, this event.
You know what we’re talking about. We’re talking about the Mad Bastard Scooter Rally, where dozens of loonies hop on step-throughs and “power” through hundreds of kilometres of back roads, all in pursuit of the title of Maddest Bastard of All.
This year, there’s a 674-km main loop, and a 180-km bonus loop; the rally starts and ends in Belleville, Ontario, with registration starting this afternoon, and the riding starting early tomorrow morning. The word on the street is that it might rain, just to make things more interesting.
