Would you like to buy one of Dennis Hopper’s old machines? How about Steve McQueen’s old Husqvarna 400 Cross? At an upcoming auction, you can.

Mecum Auctions is putting Hopper’s 1968 Husqvarna 250 T Commando dual sport up for sale at its July 26-27 auction at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica.

The auction company says “the actor raced motorcycles with McQueen along the dirt firebreaks from Coldwater Canyon to the Pacific, cruised with the Hells Angels and owned several motorcycles throughout his lifetime. This is the first time ever a Hopper bike has been offered at auction.”

The bike, an air-cooled 250 cc two-stroke that went under a year-long restoration after a collector bought it in 2011, will come with some original DMV paperwork showing Hopper owned the bike.

There’s a bunch of Steve McQueen stuff for sale at the auction as well, including one of his old helmets, and most interestingly, a Husqvarna 400 Cross.

It’s not the same 400 that McQueen rode for his famous photograph on the cover of Sports Illustrated and for the movie On Any Sunday, but it’s identical. It was restored back in 2012, and hasn’t been started since.

There’s also a ’31 Harley-Davidson Flathead for sale at the auction, which McQueen actually started restoring himself before his death (it was finished afterwards).
