Harley-Davidson’s XR1200 spec series returns to CSBK in 2013, with an important change: There’s more money available for racers.

As in past years, dealers who sponsor a bike will get a $1,000 parts and accessories credit to give to their racer, and there will be a Vance and Hines race kit also available for free, if a racer doesn’t miss any events (miss a race, and you’ll be charged for it). Returning racers will also get a set of rims from Deeley Harley-Davidson at the start of the year.

However, Deeley’s also announced they are now allowing dealers to use up to $3,000 in co-op dollars towards race bike expenses, to allow more new racers to participate.

Along with the kit parts from Vance and Hines, racers can upgrade upgrade their suspension, hand and foot controls, brake components, and instrumentation.

Racers looking to sign up should contact Darren James, Manager, Racing Programs, by phone at 604-273-5421 or by email at darrenjames@deeley.com. You can get more information on the racing program from Karen Mayberry, Manager, Marketing Projects and General Manager, Rider’s Edge Canada, at 905‑482-4240.
