Fear not, Suzuki fans – it’s business as usual for the blue and white in Canada, despite the company’s U.S. woes.

Last week, word came down that Suzuki was cutting dealerships in the U.S.; according to Asphalt and Rubber, the company is closing 10 to 20 per cent of their American motorcycle dealerships. They’ve already folded their automobile dealerships.

“Suzuki Canada Inc. is a completely separate entity than American Suzuki Motor Corporation. We are completely independent of one another,” says Tylor Donnely, with Suzuki Canada.

“You will not see a rollback in dealerships for Canada.”

So don’t be afraid to go buy that GSXR – you should be able to buy parts from your local dealer for years to come.
