Good news for all you farklers out there: Touratech has released their 2013 catalogue.

While that might not excite sportbike riders or the cruiseratti (although they do carry streetbike-only parts as well), Touratech always has a great lineup of bolt-on bits for the adventure motorcycling community.

Visit their website here to order a print copy of the catalogue, or download the digital version. While you’re at it, call your credit card company and see if they can raise your limit.

In other product news – if you’ve been thinking about getting a new lid in 2013, here’s a helmet Arai has just released. They call it the Rebel. It’s based on their existing Quantum helmet, but with a revised chin section.

Arai says the helmet was designed for naked bike riders (as in, riders who ride naked bikes, not naked riders on bikes). It’s supposed to flow more air through the vents – always a good thing, no matter what bike you’re on.

The helmet’s shell has been designed to cut through the wind efficiently, and that’s certainly something riders without windscreens will appreciate. The interior of the helmet has several options for a customized fit; the “Facial Contour System” includes peel-and-stick cheek pads to fit your helmet to your face. The cheek pads also block wind from entering the helmet at speed – another plus for naked bike riders.

We don’t have Canadian pricing or availability for the Arai Rebel.

Ain’t that the truth, lol. I picked one up at the December Toronto bike show and nearly ruined my arm carrying it; it’s about 1,300 pages of fun stuff.
