Is all the hype over the new GP13 a snow job? Hopefully not - it'd be great to see Ducati in serious competition in MotoGP again.

Ducati has unveiled their 2013 MotoGP bike during their annual Wrooom media event in Italy.

There’s usually a lot of hype over this event from the Ducati fanboys. Everybody wants to check out the new bike’s lines, but the real question is whether or not Ducati can be competitive in the 2013 MotoGP season.

Attractive bodywork and shiny livery doesn’t win championships. Riders Nicky Hayden, Andrea Dovizioso, Andrea Iannone and Ben Spies could have a long season ahead of them.

  1. Same with Dakar, WSBK, MotoGP racing, and CMG staffer crashes. Yet for some reason, our readers find it in their magnanimous hearts to forgive us when we run those stories as well.

  2. Inciteful and well-thought-out comments which have never before seen the light of day. Ducati has been doing this for years. Where have you been?
