We’ve heard rumours of KTM’s new 300-range Duke for a while now, but Indian website Zigwheels claims they have some solid details for us.

According to Zigwheels, they’re calling it the 390 Duke, not a 350; the Duke will have a 375 cc liquid-cooled, four-valve single-cylinder motor, with EFI. They say KTM is going to keep the bike’s weight down to 150 kgs.

Combine that light weight with the claimed 45 hp, and this machine could be a real winner.

Supposedly, the bike will have a similar frame to the trellis-framed Duke 200, and WP suspension.

It’s hard to say if these claims are right, but we’ll know soon enough, when the bike is unveiled at EICMA.
