Honda sets up CB1100 site

Honda isn't importing this classic-looking bike to Canada - at least, not yet. But the fact they've set up a website for the world to check the bike out is interesting.

If you want the straight dope on Honda’s CB1100, you can get the information from a new website they’ve set up.

Honda’s been teasing the CB1100 around the show circuit for several years now; now they’re selling it in Europe (they announced the move at Intermot).

Of course, there are a lot of Eddie Lawson and Wes Cooley fans who want to see the bike here in Canada, too. Trouble is, Honda hasn’t said they’re bringing it here, at least not yet. But if you want more details, you can visit the site the company has just launched, with technical specs, details on engine and chassis, a photo gallery, and more. Check it out!

    • Lol. As in, put up the money? I have no doubt that Honda would love to sell this in North America, but the Big Four have been burned so many times by niche bikes in the past, they’ve got to be pretty wary.

Having said that, Kawi’s ZRX1200 used to sell well, I think.

  1. I like this bike alot. To be perfect for my taste, I think the wheels and tank need work.
I can’t quite put my finger on how the tank should be improved. Maybe a polished panel or better logo ?
I don’t want to remember the Honda stamped star wheels that hardly anyone liked.
Also maybe a larger rear tire might better suit a modern 1100 cc bikes performance.
    Just sayin’

  2. That looks pretty bad-ass. There’s a great photo online where it wears a small silver cafe-racer fairing around the headlight. I’ll take one of those please!

  3. Too bad they didn’t make it sohc. The gas tamk hump would have been smaller. Also , the doch 750/4 ddin’t have near the impact of the sohc.
