Whether you need to develop basic dual sport skills, or just brush up on what you know, the Spring Training Day can be a big help.

Rally Connex’s annual Spring Training Day is running this Saturday in Bowmanville, Ontario, rain or shine.

The event is designed for riders of all skill levels, whether you need to sharpen your off-roading skills after months of disuse, or if you are a complete rookie and need to learn the basics.

The training will cover riding on grass, gravel, sand and single track, but doesn’t just cover riding techniques; riders will also learn how to set their bikes up properly for off-road riding, learn about gear selection and how to set up GPS units for off-roading.

The event starts at Haydon Hall, which Rally Connex claims is easy to find, saying it’s  just 15 minutes north of 401 on Regional Rd.#57. (Waverly exit). Head east on Conc. 8 to the hamlet of Haydon to #2503 Conc. 8. Look it up on Google Maps, or with a print map. If you need to travel a distance to get there, there’s a Holiday Inn Express nearby you can use for accommodations.

Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and costs $75; the event starts at 8:30.
