Last December, we told you Cleveland CycleWerks will be selling their bikes in Canada. Now, we’ve got a look at one of their new machines, the Hooligun dual sport.
Like CCW’s other bikes, this machine will be built in China to their specifications. It’ll have a 250cc OHC motor, steel frame, and aluminum swingarm and the machine appears to share some similarities to the Quinqi/Konker/Visionary/QLink bike that’s based on Suzuki’s DR200. When we saw him at the Indianapolis Dealer Expo, CCW’s owner Scott Colosimo said the Hooligun won’t be the same bike as all those, though, so we’ll just have to keep an eye on his website and wait for more specs and an MSRP to be released.
Here’s a YouTube video of the Hooligun bike that Colosimo was working on last year. The word on the street is that it’s changed a bit since then, but it looks similar to the picture Colosimo tweeted earlier this week. He’s listing it as a 2013 model, so we likely won’t see it in Canada before next year, if it ever makes it here at all.
