EagleRider, the American rental outfit that wants to plant your butt on a Harley-Davidson, has opened a shop in Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia.

EagleRider offers one-way rentals of a wide selection of Harley models, plus guided tours, "self-drive" tours with hotel bookings and detailed route maps, and for the adventurous, tours on private Montana ranchland with ATVs.

Just for fun, CMG checked availability at Kamloops for a Harley on August 29, to be returned a week later. We were offered an Electra Glide, a Heritage Softail Classic, and a Dyna Low Rider, each for $1,015 for the week. Unlimited mileage was included in the offer.

There were no other Canadian cities showing on the EagleRider "book your Harley" webpage. Kamloops is northeast of Vancouver, about a four-hour ride from the coast. EagleRider also handles other brands of motorcycle.
