Zero Motorcycles has just launched an MX model with "newly developed suspension," an "ultra-light" frame, and the company’s electric propulsion.

The MX develops 50 lb-ft of torque and 23 hp through its electric motor, which is powered by a lithium ion battery pack.

An aluminum dirt bike frame has been developed "from the ground up" and the MX gets a large, strong swingarm, larger chain and rear sprocket, an inverted 48 mm fork, and improved handling for the dirt.
