The great success of the WCC Women’s Cup race in the Dominican Republic November 30 has led to a planned repeat in 2009, with that event at the Autodromo Mobile 1 near Santo Domingo counting as the final in the series. That makes the Women’s Cup the only international racing series based in Canada — how about that?
The Canadian events are scheduled to run in conjunction with both Parts Canada (PMP) Superbike and RACE Superseries events, as follows:

May 15-17 Shannonville Motorsport Park-Long Track, Shannonville, Ontario (RACE)
May 22-24 Calabogie Motorsports Park-Long Track, Calabogie, Ontario (PMP)
June 12-14 ICAR, Montreal, Quebec (PMP)
July 17-19 Mosport International Raceway, Bowmanville, Ontario (PMP)
September 4-6 Shannonville Motorsport Park-Pro Track, Shannonville, Ontario (PMP)
September 25-27 Shannonville Motorsport Park-Pro Track, Shannonville, Ontario (RACE)
December 5-6 Autodromo Mobile 1-(Expert Only), Dominican Republic (Dominican Superbike National Championship)
The WCC runs both Novice and Expert ladies road racing classes based on national spec rules. Pirelli is the official tire of the WCC.
Looks to me like a provincial series that takes a vacation to DR. Are there any DR women contesting the series? That might make it an ‘international’ series – in my mind at least :p
