Due to a conflict in schedules we’ve had to change the dates for the 2009 Mad Bastard Scooter Rally, bringing it forward by a week to the weekend of the 12/13/14 June.
We’re also very happy to announce that KYMCO Canada have agreed to be the main sponsors of the Mad Bastard Scooter Rally 2009 which will ensure an even better event than previous years!
We’re currently working on a new route that will take riders through eastern Ontario and possibly into La Belle Province too. Nothing confirmed yet, but we’ll get this as well as a starting location nailed down early next year.
There’s also been some modifications to the class time allowances with both the Day Release and Therapy Required classes (the bigger scoots) getting shortened by an hour to make it a little tougher.
We’ve updated the Mad Bastard website to reflect these changes but will include more info in January when we’ll also be unveiling a site makeover.
Otherwise, if you’re attending the Toronto Show this weekend, be sure to drop by the KYMCO booth and pick up one of the new MBSR 09 cards. And (if all goes to plan) if you’re there Saturday afternoon, Editor ‘arris will be hanging out at the KYMCO booth between 3 and 6 to answer any questions you may have regarding the Rally.
The last date conflicted with the Ride For Sight.
