This just in from Vicki Gray, who’s in the Netherlands and has been visiting Michelle Duff in hospital …
Spoke with Michelle again today, she sounded much stronger. She’s already walking around the hospital, has NO broken ribs yet naturally is in much pain from the impact of her high-sider. She is making an amazingly fast recovery — sounds typical of Michelle doesn’t it?
Seems to have no complaints about her head at this stage, just much pain around her ribs.
Looks like she might get out of the hospital this week, enjoy the care and hospitality of friends in NL with the aim to return home next week.
She’s been enjoying many visits her rider/industry friends — the likes of Kal Carruthers and so forth.
I passed along your well wishes — she appreciates your thoughts and said to say "hello."

I just got an email reply from Michelle. She’s back home in Ontario, doing reasonably well, despite no memory of the incident. But she won’t be doing any riding this year.
She’s a very special person that should be commended for all her accomplishments in a very full life.

However there must be more news out there than a “Has Been” with a sex change.
