Ducati racing hero Paul Smart will take part in the new U.S. MotoGiro, scheduled for July in California.
Smart and his wife, Maggie, will be at the start of the event in Cannery Row, Monterey.
The MotoGiro is not a race, but a sort of vintage rally, and follows a form of competition organized in Italy shortly after World War II.
Smart raced GP in the 1970s and won the Imola 200 in 1972 on a Ducati 750.
