Perhaps these things are to be expected when certain performers reach that point in their lives. Aerosmith has backed out of a H.O.G. anniversary celebration at the end of August, claiming some sort of medical activity.

The party will go on, however, scheduled for August 29–31 with lesser acts, like Kid Rock, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.

The H.O.G. party runs side-by-side with Harley-Davidson’s 105th anniversary shindig at Milwaukee, which features Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

The Billy Bob Thornton Band, comedian Lewis Black, stunt riders, and other entertainers will keep things lively for H.O.G. partiers.
