Calabogie Motorsports Park has announced more big $$$ upgrades to their facility, situated about an hour west of Ottawa.
The already-large paved paddock is scheduled to nearly double in size this spring, with 2.5 acres of new pavement taking the area to more than six acres. At the same time, a new building with washrooms and showers is being added, as is power to the complex.
For 2009, a new three-story tower building is planned that will include a reception area, offices, classrooms, storage, more washrooms and a VIP area, plus a roof-top deck offering a panoramic view of the track.
Rumours persist that the Parts Canada national series hopes to have its first race this year at the facility – there are dates blocked off on Calabogie’s on-line calendar for a tentative “motorcycle event”, but no announcements have yet been made.

sorry. just went to link. directions were marginal, during my last visit to the site. they are groovy, now.
The web-site should give better directions.
Is this track safe enough for a national? Isn’t there a lot of armco?
