Vision 800 concept: love it or hate it.

Victory will unwrap its 800 cc concept for new riders at the Toronto Motorcycle Show in December.

The Vision 800 concept is aimed at riders who want an uncomplicated riding experience and don’t mind a departure from traditional styling attributes.

It combines a clutchless CVT transmission and shaft final drive with a cruiser-like 28.5-inch seat height, 61-inch
wheelbase, and wide 250/40 rear tire. The Vision 800’s most distinctive feature is a moulded cockpit, which is accompanied by
blended footboards.

It’s powered by an 800 cc parallel twin, and elements like a single-sided swingarm, inverted forks, and aluminum frame reveal some focus on performance, but it’s that moulded front section — containing storage room for two full-face helmets — that gives the Vision 800 its dominant, "futuristic," character.

Since the concept bike has been around for a while now, it would seem unlikely that it will make production, much to the annoyance of Mr. Ugly and his wife Fugly. And their two daughters, Mugly and Bugly. And the cat, Nipples.

Okay, that’s getting silly now.

Make up your own mind at the TMS, Dec 7th to 9th, located in the Toronto Convention Centre’s south building.
