Two motorcycle recalls this week – the BMW G650s (again) and three Triumph Rocket IIIs.

Models involved: 2007 BMW G650X Challenge, G650X Country, G650X Moto
Problem: Fuel pump wiring harness may not be to spec and contact to pump can break. Broken contact means no power to the pump and so no fuel to the motor, causing stalling
Consequence: Stalling motor can increase the risk of a crash.
Fix: Return to dealer who

Company: Triumph
Models involved: 2005 – 2007 Rocket III std, classic and classic touring
Problem: When the trottle is shut off/at idle, engine may stall out due to faulty ECU.
Consequence: Come on everybody, you should know this by now … "a stalling motor can increase the risk of a crash".
Fix: Return to dealer who will replace the ECU.
